		<description><![CDATA[The scepticism for exotic substances is warranted and shared.  But the accelerating red shift however is very well documented.  Merely speculating that the status quo continues yields the big rip as the inevitable consequence.  The theoretical mechanism is sketchy but the observations are solid.  It doesn&#039;t mean the big rip is for sure but based on observations it is our best guess for the fate of the observable universe.]]></description>
