Wouldn’t it be funny (hilarious!) if there were some sort of horribly lethal communicable disease spreading not terribly far from where some of these salafioon are running rampant? Isn’t there some major event coming up soon where coreligionists from all over the world descend on one location, then disperse back to their home countries?

I think it’s wiser to believe in a simpler explanaton than to consider some sort of New World Order conspiracy that funds and creates Islamist groups so that they can fight them. These fanatics are funded by other fanatics with loads of oil money, and the Middle East doesn’t lack those. Humans tend to find patterns even where there are none.

So a western world and Israel which finds being able to conduct warfare hamstrung by public sentiment (see 4GW, the Gaza offensive and the attempt at airstriking Syria halted by public outrage at going to war) could not have in any way facilitated an entity which is going out of its way to be as garish as possible, and as media presentable as possible? despite the clear evidence that it did.
We are now in a position that the USA has declared it will strike Syria, without the attendant uproar. How come people find it difficult to think that the security services would think like this? it’s warfare propaganda 101 – demonize the enemy, and if there is no enemy to demonize – create one.
