How Communism Works

Really:

Naked mole rats are among the ugliest creatures in the animal kingdom, and they engage in acts that seem repulsive — such as eating one another’s, and their own, faeces. … Now researchers have found one biological motivation for this behaviour. When a queen mole rat’s subordinates feed on her hormone-filled faeces, the resulting oestrogen boost causes the beta rats to take care of the queen’s pups … […] Like bees, naked mole rats live in eusocial colonies, with only one queen rat and a few males that can reproduce. The rest of the colony consists of dozens of infertile subordinates that help with tasks such as foraging and defending the nest. The subordinate rats also take care of the queen’s pups as though the babies were their own: they build the nests, lick the pups and keep them warm with their body heat.

We’re almost there. Hail the New Collectivist Man:

ComradeMR

“Sue Carter, a behavioural neurobiologist at Indiana University in Bloomington, says that the animals’ method of transferring parental responsibility through faeces is interesting.”

(Don’t say you weren’t warned.)

    There you have it folks.

IF we’re lucky, at some point in the future and probably long after it’s too late, we’ll be able to look back and perceive that as a civilisation we faced a choice between being called racist sexist toxically masculine shitlords and… eating our own shit.

I knew they lived in colonies, but I didn’t realize they practiced ant-style eusociality. And they’re mammals! Yikes.

Stephen Baxter has written a far amount on the idea of eusocial human hives modeled after naked mole rats in Coalescent. If you want to focus on the idea just skip to the last section which is a short self contained separate story.

Communist/ leftist and their individualized blank slate human mole rat goal versus the libertarian/ leftist individualized blank slate human atom soon to become the (seemingly be proposed around these parts) post-libertarian / rightest individualised blank slate human that is unfit to work in modernity so must be replaced by robot ubermensch to keep it going.

I’m gonna take a pass on this shitshow.

C’mon, don’t be so lazy. Even the most modernist and progressive of libertarian theorists denied the blank slate. Here’s von Mises the ultra-liberal: …the fact that men are born unequal in regard to physical and mental capabilities cannot be argued away. Some surpass their fellow men in health and vigor, in brain and aptitudes, in energy and resolution and are therefore better fitted for the pursuit of earthly affairs than the rest of mankind… while von Hayek argued that if everyone was equal, than we really would need central planning in order to achieve anything, but exactly because humans are unequal that order can occur in absentia of central planning… and these two are the most modernist and the most leftist of the bunch (not counting left-libertarian lunatics).

I don’t understand all the Skynet hatred. If I was a barbarian living in a mud hut, I would cheer for the Romans bringing civilization, even at the cost of my people’s genes. This, I suspect, is how smart negroes that understand HBD think actually: left to their own devices, negroid race cannot preserve civilization. Flourishing of intelligence is infinitely more transcendent than the future of ‘my people’. All species go extinct. It is time to let go.

    “Who knows?”
It’s actually a fairly thoroughly reviewed topic. (1, 2. Both links to PDFs.)

My own opinion is that this is not much of a concern. I can go into detail if you like, but for now suffice it to say that human males are not going to be feminized — or affected in any meaningful way — by low nanogram per liter amounts of estrogen/EE2 in drinking water. (This is not to say that there aren’t endocrine disruptors out there, just that this particular one isn’t very relevant to us humans.) Fish are very sensitive to low concentrations of the stuff for a number of obvious reasons that don’t apply to humans.

Not much of a concern? Testosterone levels in men are 25% lower than in 1989..

    [Reply]

    Erebus Reply:

I was referring to estrogen and ethnyl estradiol in our water supplies. You can’t be implying that declining testosterone levels are due solely to that. It’s not even a contributing factor.

…But there are lots of plausible contributing factors. Take obesity, for instance. Aromatase — an important enzyme which converts testosterone and its precursors into estrogen — is expressed almost exclusively in adipose tissue. This means that the more adipose tissue you have, the more active that enzyme is going to be, the worse your T/E ratio is going to get. All things being equal, a fatter society is going to be a society with significantly lower testosterone and higher estrogen levels.

There are many other factors. (Widespread vitamin D deficiency is one, the increasing role of soy in the American diet may plausibly be another, and then the sort of lifestyles modern men lead must also be considered!) But a couple picograms of ethnyl estradiol in your glass of water is no cause for concern. There’s also trenbolone in your water, by the way. Quite a lot of arsenic, too. (Typically low µg/L concentrations.)

OK then… but, this could be used to show progs how their precious womyn destroy their cherished Environment™. Well, it could be, only if they had issues with doublethink, which they most certainly don’t – they’re perfectly fine with it.

If they want to model their cities after the naked mole rat, I’m more than happy to let them. Let us compete for Gnon’s favour.

Given how interested and involved they are with whether my cities are naked mole rat compliant, one almost begins to suspect their real goal is not eusociality.
