Quote note (#223)

Hard to see how this could have been better played:

Just to be clear, I don’t believe that Hillary Clinton, the Illuminati, or the Military-Industrial Complex killed Scalia. I think he died of natural causes. […] I also think Scalia had a great sense of humor and a quick mind. So my hypothesis is that in his final seconds of life, realizing he would not survive, he thought it would be hilarious to put a pillow over his head and make it look like a political murder.

If someone was somehow able to evade detection and smother him without a trace or a hint of struggle, why would they leave the pillow on his face and arouse suspicion, after pulling of everything else?

It falls into the same category as the 9/11 conspiracies, that even if it’s true, the people you’d be accusing are already clearly and provably guilty of so many other acts of malfeasance, that this case where you only have circumstantial evidence isn’t worth pursuing. Does 9/11 need to be an inside job for the Bush Administration to be condemned? Or is making a case based on the hard evidence that’s at hand not as sexy?

One could also argue the converse, which also leads to interesting questions.

Given that we know Obongo and HRC murdering an eminent Red Team Supreme Court Justice for the sake of the Cathedral is entirely within the bounds of plausibility, then if they didn’t – why didn’t they?

I think the pillow was above his head, as in pushed up between the crown of his skull and the headboard, not over his face. The ranch owner just phrased it badly.

OH. “Over his head” like the way a halo is over an angel’s head.

@A Cathedralist has to believe that they are indeed a very nice person, and a very nice person doesn’t just have someone killed. Now a Cathedralist will kill millions without batting an eye, but they have to create several degrees of separation. Obama probably doesn’t consciously get that he’s responsible for ISIS, and Dubya probably still thinks he did a good and righteous thing for the people of Iraq. Just bumping off a political rival honestly would short circuit their whole internal narrative.
