Quote note (#293)

Saletan:

Trump isn’t Hitler. But in 1922, Hitler wasn’t Hitler, either.

This card is on fire, but might as well play it anyway.

The media is getting desperate because of WikiLeaks revelations such as the following:

WikiLeaks: Citigroup executives selected Obama’s Cabinet one month BEFORE the 2008 election and then received the largest bailout during the financial crisis

“The most important revelation in the WikiLeaks dump of John Podesta’s emails has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton.

The messages go all the way back to 2008, when Podesta served as co-chair of President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team. And a month before the election, the key staffing for that future administration was ALMOST ENTIRELY in place, revealing that some of the most crucial decisions an administration can make occur well before a vote has been cast.

Michael Froman, who is now U.S. trade representative but at the time was an executive at Citigroup, wrote an email to Podesta on October 6, 2008, with the subject “Lists.”

Froman used a Citigroup email address. He attached three documents: a list of women for top administration jobs, a list of non-white candidates, and a sample outline of 31 cabinet-level positions and who would fill them. “The lists will continue to grow,” Froman wrote to Podesta, “but these are the names to date that seem to be coming up as recommended by various sources for senior level jobs.”

The cabinet list ended up being almost entirely on the money.

Hitler isn’t even Hitler. Most Americans think he was a fascist and have no idea of the structure of National Socialism, or its actual failings versus its perceived moral failings (some of which I agree were failings, but not all, for example Action T4 is pure sanity). Calling Trump Hitler is a boilerplate Leftist kneejerk and has no real weight. The backfire on it is that Hitler is being rehabilitated because many of his concerns have been vindicated: democracy, diversity, internationalism/globalism and equality have failed.

    [Reply]

    G. Eiríksson Reply:

Enough with these mantras. Obviously T is not H, but there´s a lot of similarities. Far more than when they made the Bush = Hitler comparison, and some more than when others made the Obama = Hitler comparison.

This shit has weight for a lot of people, is the crude reality. Hitler is one of the favorite comparisons of peoples.

Democracy has failed (in that the actual populus doesn´t rule), but it was co-opted from early on. By aristocrats of sorts. But I´ll call them ideologues.

Diversity, well what the Cathedral pushes is not actual diversity like in the multi-ethnic complex that was the Holy Roman Empire but an inversion of it (a commodified pseudo-diversity).

Globalism hasn´t failed. Globalism is just a fact. It means we´re connected globally now. NRx would get only 1/3 of its comments if it weren´t for globalism.

The Internet was a sideproduct of globalism . And now globalism is its product further. The former was created as a communication net work because of inter-continental projectiles.

▬ The word itself came into widespread usage, first and foremost in the United States, from the early 1940s. This was the period when US global power was at its peak: the country was the greatest economic power the world had ever known, with the greatest military machine in human history. Or, as George Kennan’s Policy Planning Staff put it in February 1948: “[W]e have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population. […] Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity”.
One American historian has gone as far as to describe this particular American version of globalism as visionary, in order to highlight its potently ideological nature—indeed, “Washington’s most impressive Cold War ideological achievement”. Visionary globalism was a far-reaching conception of “American-centric state globalism using capitalism as a key to its global reach, integrating everything that it can into such an undertaking”. And “integrating everything” crucially meant global economic integration, which had collapsed under the blows of World War I and the Great Depression. (Peck 2006, p. 19, 21)

    Globalism =/= Open borders.

What has failed is what should have stopped Antiracists & pseudo-intellectuals (the Cathedral) from taking power.

What failed was Hitler. Who just played it wrong.

What failed was the American Right-wing.

Albionic American • in 2 hours The Trump phenomenon makes another kind of ethnic sense. He has a German father and a Scottish mother (born on the Isle of Lewis). The Germans and the Scots both have a long tradition of valuing the United States as a second home and a refuge from the Old World. Their descendants have inherited this tradition of treating the United States as an asset that needs careful management to maintain its value. This may account for why another German-American billionaire, Peter Thiel, has thrown his support and some of his money to Trump, despite the awkwardness this causes for Thiel in Silicon Valley. Many Old Stock Americans share this view of our country, and they have recognized a kindred spirit in Trump. They also recognize on some level that other groups in this country treat the United States as a throwaway and a pile of exhaustible assets to strip for their own short-sighted purposes. The Trumpistas want a change in the nation’s leadership to shift national priorities away from looting and depletion and over to production and sustainability.

we need a model based on an understanding of human nature, where Leftism comes from and how to prevent it from subverting the new society and still capable of doing some of the positive things the Cathedral has managed at least till of late (mostly reducing abject poverty) and creates a homogeneous society

▬ However, when considering the histories of these medieval and renaissance republics, it is striking that their existence follows a definite pattern. Almost invariably, we find these republics existing among populations which fulfill two qualifications – high average national IQs and [Nordid] in culture and ethnicity. The medieval and early modern republics which we can identify consist of the following:

The Maritime Republics of northern Italy (Venice, Genoa, Pisa, etc.)
    The Dutch Republic
    Several of the Swiss city-states
Several of the German Hanseatic city-states
Some of the Alsatian city-states in the Décapole
    The Pskov and Novgorod Republics
    The Icelandic Commonwealth

What is evident is that the world axis is not as much betw. Indo-Europeans and Jews, as it is betw. squareheads and roundheads. It is devilish instigators that continually provoke the roundheads into rebellion against the squareheads.

Leptomorphy & the morphy that is alike to Hillary and Mao. When the devilish figure Lenin got his mouth loose on the Russian squareheads, they latter executed the Russian squareheads.

These types also dress differently. The leptos dress very cool, but the roundies tend to dress in uni-form suits.

The fundamental difference between right and left is the left lives for others the right for itself. until left completes it ratchet that doesnt seem to be the case and a Hitler analogy becomes extreme, eventually the questions becomes existential, do i want to survive or die in service and one chooses Hitler;or not. was Hitler a rare right ratchet it he force the moment to crisis too soon, did he bring the question to the a left that was still way far from existential land? Im no expert on the world wars but from what i know it seems to me no. Hitler got elected by the people of the most advanced and progressive nation on earth precisely because the left gave no choice, be rolled over by international communism in service to the world worker or fight for the interests for the german.Ironically maybe cleverly because the zeitgeist was socialist at the time because world unwinding from peasantry Hitler riffed and came up with national socialism. Today it seems global capitalism v national capitalism. some would like to pretend there can be no such thing as national cap[italism thats BS theres no economic law that. a lot could be done to ensure the citizens and nations of of the western world get their due

Leftists are among the most popular opportunistic, self-centered and oblivious to the harm they cause among the entire human race. Religious people (including the politically religious) pretend to be dedicated to a higher cause, but no such thing exists, what they’re really dedicated to is self-aggrandizement of the most extreme sort, of trying to force their internal emotional drama onto the external world.
