OK, I'll accept that it was Fernandez' neocon horseshit and not yours; I just didn't think it should be repeated uncritically. (And his own commenters, particularly JackDeWalt, seem to be giving him a good schooling on the issue.) BTW, he referred simply to "union," not *public* education. I'm willing to concede he probably had the latter in mind but he should have been clearer. Busting the unions won't make the problem go away.

Actually I agree with you on separation of school and state and think it stands on similar if not stronger grounds than separation of church and state. Promoting home schooling is one of those few exit-related reforms I can see NRxaries getting behind.

@Michael Soren

Spoken like a Professor.

If neocon Horseshit...Well then it's Fernandez's neocon Horseshit. The quote is from him, he's the referenced article by Admin.

What I said is Public Education was supposed to HARM from a motive of MALICE.

Since that's one pointed right at the Nihilists, it's hardly NeoCon.

I actually believe a proper core policy will be the Separation of School and State, that can be accomplished by the simple remedy of Man's first Tool. It has so many benefits among them instant tax relief for the debt and tax enslaved peasants, but above all crystal clarity.

And actually since Social Justice is getting identical results nationally and globally regardless of demographic it's safe to say the phenom isn't constrained to Detroit's Demographic. See Boston Irish, Dublin Slums, England 2012 riots, Sweden, France, and the ultimate multi-demographic mix of the Favela.

People want systems, laws, formulas. religion, Monarchs, Formalism, Magic, Basiliks, Memes, ancap, an-*, anything but to recognize this is a People problem amongst the elites, and They.Gotta.Go.

I've said it before, but since I love saying it, I will say it again, "the weak die first in the jungle." Typically when we conceive of competition in the harsh jungle of life, we think of fierce predators stalking their prey - the Nazis launching their blitzkrieg across Europe. In the jungle, however, far more people die from disease than from being eaten. One has to worry about mosquitoes as much as jaguars. Whereas it is hard not to notice a big cat eating your guts, it is possible to convince yourself that you're just having a bad day and not actually experiencing the symptoms of malaria.

A lot more states will have to fail before the Cathedral even notices what they are dying from let alone how it might have the same disease. The other salient part of this extended analogy is that it is not possible to predict which patients will die from a disease initially or even after a while. Even the correct treatment does not always save the patient. Consequently, where the next outbreak of "state failure" will occur is an unknown, but I would guess Africa.

Michael Dunn. This is nullification in progress. They can't get 1st degree murder out of it.

BTW he woulda walked if he hadn't talked to a cop. The next day, after driving home.

"thus proving that union education is arguably more destructive than the Atomic Bomb, only less obviously so. "

Yes but it was supposed to Harm. Harm and Malice are the motive.

The Justice sought is Revenge.

"The design margin is used up; savings are depleted; the institutions are hollowed out; public morality becomes perverted and education becomes nothing but a credential — and it all happens out of the public eye. Only when everything is used up, as in Venezuela, when the whole edifice implodes, as if by magic, does the cumulative effect become manifest."

Indeed. Now, replace Venezuela with the entire world. The Cathedral will grab every resource they can to hide the damage, prop up the façade, to conceal the faults, and to maintain the "beautiful bubbles" of their corruscating Elysia. The "final day of reckoning" will be "put off by eating the seed corn, pawning the family jewels…", including the "seed corn" to maintain industrial civilization.

As Fernandez says of Venezuela and Syria:

"It’s burned the bridges. There’s no reopening the car plants or restarting the factories, or even repairing the power plants. The engineers have all emigrated to Alberta, Canada. The same can be said of Syria. Who wants to open a store in Homs? In ten years nobody left in Homs will even remember how to do it. A whole generation of children is now growing up who know nothing other than war."

Indeed, now extend that no restarting of the factories or repairing of the power plants to all of humanity. That is our future. As was said earlier:

"…it will only get worse from here on in."
