OK, I’ll accept that it was Fernandez’ neocon horseshit and not yours; I just didn’t think it should be repeated uncritically. (And his own commenters, particularly JackDeWalt, seem to be giving him a good schooling on the issue.) BTW, he referred simply to “union,” not *public* education. I’m willing to concede he probably had the latter in mind but he should have been clearer. Busting the unions won’t make the problem go away.

Actually I agree with you on separation of school and state and think it stands on similar if not stronger grounds than separation of church and state. Promoting home schooling is one of those few exit-related reforms I can see NRxaries getting behind.

What I said is Public Education was supposed to HARM from a motive of MALICE.

Since that’s one pointed right at the Nihilists, it’s hardly NeoCon.

I actually believe a proper core policy will be the Separation of School and State, that can be accomplished by the simple remedy of Man’s first Tool. It has so many benefits among them instant tax relief for the debt and tax enslaved peasants, but above all crystal clarity.

And actually since Social Justice is getting identical results nationally and globally regardless of demographic it’s safe to say the phenom isn’t constrained to Detroit’s Demographic. See Boston Irish, Dublin Slums, England 2012 riots, Sweden, France, and the ultimate multi-demographic mix of the Favela.

People want systems, laws, formulas. religion, Monarchs, Formalism, Magic, Basiliks, Memes, ancap, an-*, anything but to recognize this is a People problem amongst the elites, and They.Gotta.Go.

I’ve said it before, but since I love saying it, I will say it again, “the weak die first in the jungle.” Typically when we conceive of competition in the harsh jungle of life, we think of fierce predators stalking their prey – the Nazis launching their blitzkrieg across Europe. In the jungle, however, far more people die from disease than from being eaten. One has to worry about mosquitoes as much as jaguars. Whereas it is hard not to notice a big cat eating your guts, it is possible to convince yourself that you’re just having a bad day and not actually experiencing the symptoms of malaria.

A lot more states will have to fail before the Cathedral even notices what they are dying from let alone how it might have the same disease. The other salient part of this extended analogy is that it is not possible to predict which patients will die from a disease initially or even after a while. Even the correct treatment does not always save the patient. Consequently, where the next outbreak of “state failure” will occur is an unknown, but I would guess Africa.
