When do we get space communists who want to collectivize space?

With hope the absurdity of communism will become more and more apparent as we enter the TRUE space age.

The idea that an abstract collective of bulk humanity could own anything in a way that corresponds to equality is something people have been able to take seriously only because they’ve been afforded the luxury of not looking too closely at what ownership means in practice. Ownership corresponds close with enforced control and management otherwise it’s a mere fiction, a piece of paper. How could a seething mass of individuals in all their diversity have an equal claim to all the means of production on Earth? How far can you stretch a fiction before reality is able to tear through it?

I could claim that I own Rigel 7 right now, but if space corporations colonize that system, how exactly am I going to collect on that ownership? Chase them down across space for the universal proletariat?

I wish I was living in a “satellite village” right now, I don’t feel safe among the terrestrials. That would be a sweet thoughtcrime patch wouldn’t it? For anyone wanting to tune in to the station all they would need to do is launch us up some sandwiches, wine, toothpaste, etc. from time to time. Space pirate bartering lol

On second thought, even there we wouldn’t be safe. Safe from getting shanked by sidewalk marauders duh. What about missiles or “”laser beams”” when we piss someone off enough? So if you give a mouse a cookie next thing he’ll want is a nuke-proof forcefield. And even then, who knows what China’s own deep state has been up to over the decades, they very well could have a secret quantum death laser or some such. Therefore it seems if you want to get into some really hardcore trolling (and we can’t even imagine what kind of trolling posthumans would be capable of) our best bet for now is Mars, as we can intercept atomic missiles since we’re at such a distance. If someone has a laser though they can fry us into dust so Idk. Anyway, just trying to think ahead.
