Why run? Britain was better run and more successful when it wasn’t a democracy. If I was a Muslim in London I’d be looking for exit strategies.

when is that when do you date the democracy from? what about the usa? Do we really need to compile the long list of monarchs warlords dictators that destroyed their nations. You want to cherry pick a couple of good kings go ahead but be honest then explain how you intend to scale that. Democracy isnt great but it works fine until elites game it in order to become aristocrats once again.
Now since i keep going on about this and you all keep filling in blanks if i dont fill them let me fill another this is not to say one opposed hierarchy. democracy is not intended to be rule by the average its in fact intended to be a market based rule to prevent rule by average aristocrats stability. A lot of even good monarchy cant scale to yechno future world anyway. Problem is cog elites is not enough still have ape brains act stupid greedy short time pref etc.
solution needed is not how to exclude proles proles are docile to a point and have good instincts naturally. problem to solve is how to keep cog elites from acting like apes. giving them everything doesnt help they already have everything they own the world and still act stupid. The idea was to be able to remove them when that happened which you could not without grat cost with stupid son of good deceased king. or tyrant. so frequency of govt too wide. One secret is keep population homogenous so little difference in interests less factionism, but elites get ambitious multcultural empire leads niggerization greece rome byzantium euro usa same story. another trick dont let cog elites cut poles out of wealth they help create defend etc so commies cant exploit disparity and dont let non producers vote, and insiste women have children and dont promote feminism.and most of all no debt and fiat you cant buy votes with out fake wealth.

Blaming democracy for bad governance is like blaming capitalism for socialism or evolution for dysgenics. democracy is the evolution/capitalism framework of social order. garbage in garbage out.

    pedanticmoron Reply:

The vast majority of monarchs didn’t destroy their states, especially if you’re using late 18th-mid 19th century absolutism as our model of an ideal monarchy.

Please describe how democracy is “market based”.

You certainly can buy votes without “fake wealth”, all you have to do is look at 19th century democratic machine politics to see large scale vote and representative buying. And you claim to support capitalism but you dislike debt, do you realize the role debt plays in a financial market? And how central a well functioning financial system that can supply short term liquidity is to a capitalist economy?

have you noticed how well democracy works until certain things are added, the usa I think is like the oldest nation on earth now only been really fucked for a few decades yeah sure we can point to the start much earlier point is democracy worked well for us. commies hated democracy for the longest time till they figured out how to hack it.

The chris peter debate linked at bottom of article is great peters laying out alt right ,monldbug, and trumpism, during bill clintons presidency, hes getting the meatgrinder of the wars on intellectual persuasions, the difference between prole dignity laborism and marxist socialism, the self hatred of the elites and their internationalism, the cathedral its not only all there theres a lot of insights neo inactionarys cant grok.
its dense and subtle but delicious.

Did you watch it? ok well one of the last interesting bit was peter denouncing referendums to defend the english irish scottish union againt the EU, so from the timeline perspective and they discussing things whose denoument is now is fascinating. Christopher is defending democracy and the EU as its champion and using independence ambitions in Gb and spain etc as arguments in favor of the eu as guarantor of exit is a laugh. reactionary is bandied about constantly as is the meme of cuckism and left and right being shams, watch it its topical germain to early reaction its about the time of Buchanan’s run and Reagan/ thatcher disappointment few saw then.

Peter Hitchens on when he noticed the slide to socialism:

“When I returned from two and a half years in the USSR and Russia, and found myself repeatedly seeing, emerging in my own country, aspects of the old Soviet system. Worse, observing that these aspects elicited either complacency or actual support.”

That chimes, in a way, with my own experience on return from China. A ” managed society”, a politically correct party line, Red Guardism etc etc.

    @ @ Pedant

I am certainly not using any specific type or time of absolute rule, was pretty clear neoinaction likes to do that sort of cherry picking. theres a lot of ruin in a nation so ill admit if ruin is absolute as opposed to its sense of ruined for its purpose then quite a few were ruined by teams of rulers.
If it makes you feel any better, if you can clone the most exemplary of kings so we can always replace him when he gets old or succumbs to ape brainism then I would maybe give it a try, but if youre asking me to sign on to the reality of it then no. monarchys are as subject to the attacks democracy suffers maybe more so because it shares less power with competing alphas elites.but you still have these problems
There is zero chance of getting there from here ever again
euroman does not like being ruled at all hes independent
it does not scale to tech future world too complex now
even MMs larp about it is clear it would only work with a veto powered board so whats point?
the patch king idea is even more absurd reviving serfdom are you insane maybe chinks not us
the idea that the check on power is a market choice to leave ill conceived in practice
much easier clients and shareholders stay new manager hired
democracy more like corporation than monarchy

Please describe how democracy is “market based”. seriously?

think of voters as consumers shopping for a product or service. think of how as that product or services wears out contract expires how consumers will re evaluate and providers will inovate.

Now think of a king as the only product available good or bad take it or die.

leftism attacks democracy gets Hitler and trump eventually leftism attacks free markets gets socialism collapse eventually leftism attacks evolution gets multicultural collapse eventually. The systems themselves are similar leftism is not democracy any more than its capitalism, socialism is the diseased version of capitalism under parasitic attack theres is no socialism possible without the host system leftism will use whatever means it can its attacked by at least two types of elites who these days are almost indistinguishable.
