Twitter cuts (#10)

This ‘Cathedral’ stuff is just too easy:

The article needs to be seen to be believed. An exemplary snippet:

“Erosion of poverty has always been a concern, but they have not managed to eliminate these kinds of neighborhoods in the best years of the Cuban welfare state,” Mr. de la Fuente said, “and it is much less likely they can do it now.”

“The changes in Cuba are for more socialism.”

Indeed, the jokes are already included.

Watch Cuba become more racially stratified as it liberalises. Will they keep the poz-camp quarantines or get in line with Cathedral norms?

Immiserize everybody so the differences become invisible is the only trick the left has.

How many Americans had to read Harrison Bergeron in high school? I know I did.

Leftover Cold War thing, of course — we also read Animal Farm, right after the Communist Manifesto to make sure no one missed the point — but I wonder how long it’ll be until some Vogon realizes what’s in there and takes it out.

(Wacky revisionist black nationalism is at least fash enough to resist the last-man nonsense. I bet they’re a lot more commie one county over, where the people who run the school board don’t make it clear that they hate them.)

Conclusion: the Left know where the ratchet ends just as much as we do. The only difference is that they’re OK with it.

Cheer up. May have stumbled into a magical world where WH marines start quoting Moldbug…
    Just picture it.

    ” OneUSMarineRet retweeted you
@MasterGuns1313 The Dark Enlightenment: something has gone terribly wrong in the West. …”

I sent along Condensed Moldbuggery too.

I should have done this a year ago.

You could read that in two different ways.

    It does.

BTW, it looks like some “Urban Defense” would be appropriate on that page, the comments sections has been overrun by spam bots. Vaguely ironically, the bots do give lots of praise, but use the comment’s website field or in-text URLs to advertize junk.
