Sounds like you’re channelling Ernst Junger’s “Anarch”. The man survived Weimar, Nazi, occupied and democratic Germany. Without changing his principles to suit them once. Interesting man in himself, I can’t recommend his novels highly enough. His writing style is a set of philosophical, historical and personal vignettes being tied together to form a narrative. They’re not written like conventional novels.

Is it just me or have you decided to work on accelerating the disintegration? Personally, my political color is ‘hide-away’, and I’m intent on getting through the coming waves of mass panic and deplorable stupidity without falling into the hands of either fascists or communists, and I know that’s going to be difficult, because most humans love that collective brain-eating zombie-crawl shit. Oh well, long live the adventures in solitary espionage, and honestly, a nightmare is better than no dream at all.
